Jay C. Wilcox
President
Jay Wilcox was named Group Vice President, Power and Control Systems and President of L-3 Marine Systems, early in 2007. Previously, he served as president and general manager of Philadelphia-based L-3 SPD Electrical Systems since October 2000. During his tenure in Philadelphia, Mr. Wilcox led a management team that restored customer confidence in the company’s quality system while transforming the business from a traditional, vertically integrated manufacturing company to a profitable, high-quality, assembly and test operation. Prior to joining L-3 Communications, Mr. Wilcox held key executive positions in the defense industry at Lockheed Martin, Loral and Goodyear Aerospace Corporations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and a Masters of Business Administration from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.
